Pastor Andy Murray
Born and raised in NH, I grew up the youngest of four siblings. My dad, Loren Murray, was the Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Chester, NH. At six, I trusted in Jesus Christ and was baptized. I was brought up “acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”
When I was 12, my father was in a fatal car accident. I see now the wise and loving hand of Christ in my life as He used this event to shape and mold and press me toward Himself. It was this event that sparked in me an earnest desire to know God from His Word. By His grace, this desire has continued to grow.
Pastoral ministry slowly took hold of my heart and mind. I knew I wanted to know Christ from His Word, but as I studied the Scriptures and discovered infinite treasures in Christ my desire to bring others to this treasure began to grow more and more. The Lord brought invaluable mentors and teachers into my life over the years and continues to shape and mold and press me toward Himself. I have had the incredible privilege to serve and be served in the Body of Christ. The Lord has been so good to me.
Andy, Beth and their boys
I met my wife, Beth, at Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University) and we were married the summer after our graduation. Our union is one of the greatest joys of my life. I have only grown in my admiration and appreciation of this woman who models so well a quiet and gentle spirit which is precious in the sight of God. We now have 4 wonderful boys and a new little girl and are thrilled to pour our lives into knowing Christ from His Word and helping others to do the same.
